We know that at each stage of
life, children take on special
developmental tasks and
challenges related to their
social, emotional, physical, and
cognitive development. Our
teachers utilize the
Creative Curriculum which
promotes children’s social
skills through active learning.
Based on Piaget’s Cognitive
theory, the Creative
Curriculum gives children a
variety of experiences in 10
different learning centers that
are challenging, yet
developmentally appropriate.
Children learn pre-math,
science, and pre-reading skills
through hands-on manipulatives
and concrete concepts. A
resource teacher and a music
teacher work with children to
enhance their classroom
learning. All learning is
individualized at the child’s
own pace to promote school
readiness.
